He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Wehage and Catherine Wehage (Dibbern); and his brother Bernard L. Wehage. He is survived by: his wife Diana Wehage (Maio); his children, Scott Wehage (Shannon Raemer) and Christina Howard (Scott Howard); his grandchildren, Christopher Wehage, Catherine Wehage and Anna Howard; his nephews, David Wehage and Louis Wehage; and his niece Maria.
