He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Bucklin and Hazel Bucklin (Christian); his wife Irene Louise Bucklin (Swift); his great grandchild Benjamin Denton; and his brothers, Robert Bucklin and Randall Bucklin.

He is survived by: his daughter Gail Griffiths (Dale) of Jarrettsville, MD; his granddaughters, Jennifer Dialinos (John) of Bel Air, MD and Kimberly Denton (Jason O'Donnell) of Delta, PA; his great grandchildren, Alexia Dialinos, Samantha Denton and Cooper Denton; and his siblings, Phyllis Davis, Carolyn Mullins (Robert) of Daniels, WV and Thomas Bucklin (Ann) of Fishersville, VA..
