She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Gordon Bowerman and Eunice Strausbaugh Bowerman; and her brother Dr. Jack Wallace Bowerman. She is survived by: her husband James Turner Young; her children, Allison Crotty of Mooresville, NC, Heather Funk (Ed) of Sparks, MD, David Crotty, Stewart Crotty (Leslie) and Gregory Young (Diane) of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren, David Crotty II, Samantha, William Messer, Mackenzie, Chase, Charlotte, Cecilia Crotty, Kennedy Collins (Justin), Peyton Funk, Savannah, Gregory, Nathan (Tess), Caroline, Lily, Emma and Hope Young; her great grandchild Turner James Messer; and also, Rex Bowerman, Amy Bowerman Freed (Scott), Jackson, Anne Sterling Freed, Scott (Tiffany), Brielle, Brenden and Will Bowerman. She is also survived by other extended family, friends.
