Charles Ray Cornett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Ray Cornett (Jarrettsville, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Cornett and Alice Sherman (May); his children, Charlotte Crouse and Tom Cornett; his brothers, Ralph Cornett, Marvin Cornett, Jim Cornett and Larry Cornett; his sons-in-law, Paul Cooper, Sr., Charles Crouse, Edward Vanover, Sr. and James McCless Batts, Jr.; his granddaughter Edith Geller; and his great grandchildren, Coty Daughtry, Eddie Vanover, Daniel Cornett, Jason Batts, Paul Cooper, Jr. and John Daughtry.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Cornett (Wilt); and his daughters, Terry J. Vanover, Lora Ann Batts and Lucretia Diane Daughtry (John Daughtry). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and 21 great-great Grandchildren.
