In loving memory of Kelly Marie Welch of Indian Head, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who departed this world on January 7, 2025 at the age of 57. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, John, Helen Welch, Marie (Long) and Harold Brukardt; and her stepgrandfather Roger Long.
She is survived by: her parents, Susie Welch and Marty Welch; her siblings, Traci Cooksey (Tommy), Brandon Welch and Nathan Welch (Tracy); her nieces, Lilly Welch, Katelyn Welch and Makena Cooksey; and her great-niece Riley Kerig. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church (6455 Port Tobacco Rd, La Plata, MD 20677). A burial will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ignatius Hilltop Catholic Church Cemetery (6455 Port Tobacco Rd, La Plata, MD 20677).
