It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Eugene Thompson (Indian Head, Maryland), who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Thompson of Maryland and Mary Elizabeth Butler Thompson; his former wife Catherine Lorraine Proctor; his daughters, Christina Star Thompson (Anthony Barber) and Kimberlee Ann Thompson (Marc Smoot); his grandchildren, Antonio Quashia (Alicia), James Stewart III (Carmen), Shauntesia (Javan Smith), Marc Kiya Marc and MarcKayla; his wife Ramona Louise (Reed); his children, Lisa Marie Reed Williams (Shawn), Melanie N. Reed and Paul A. Reed, Jr.; his siblings, Phyllis Sandra Thompson (Harley), Lisa Marie Thompson (Duckett), Denise Roxanne Thompson and Charles Earl Thompson; and also, Earl Evans, Jr. and Madie Louise Evans.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Indian Head Baptist Church (27 Raymond Ave, Indian Head, MD 20640). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
