John Sylvester Gray Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Sylvester Gray of Indian Head, Maryland, who passed away on January 26, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gray and Mary Gray; and his siblings, Steve Gray, Shirley Thomas, Rose Johnson and Melvin Gray.
He is survived by: his children, Tawanda Gray, Damon Gray, Stacie Seaborne, Timika Gray and Shawnta Gray; his siblings, Jimmy Gray, David Gray, Carl Gray, Lawrence Gray, Alice Montgomery, Joseph Gray and Calvin Gray; and his close friend Pamela Brown. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grand children, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Baptist Church (8105 Annapolis Woods Rd, Welcome, MD 20693). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
