It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rowena L. Day of Ijamsville, Maryland, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Lee Day; her parents, John Monroe Lee and Olive Picolet Lee; her siblings, John Lee (Rose), William Lee (Ruby), Carroll, Jimmy (Betty Day), Clarence and Conard Lee; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Kylee Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth B. Day (Wanda) and Sherri Mallis (Dimitri); her grandchildren, Nicholas Mills and Allison Mills; her stepgrandchildren, Beth Mallis, Valerie Mallis, James Mallis, Tess Bennett (Steven), Jennifer Dodd and Sandra Dolan; her stepgreat-grandson Andrew Mallis; her sister Betty Wilkins (Russ); and her sister-in-law Darlene Day (Carroll).
