He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Franklin and Maravonda Franklin; and his sister Linda Sparks. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Batovich Franklin; his sons, Michael Franklin (Kristie) of Middletown, MD and Andy Franklin (Jen); his grandchildren, Colin, Carson, Haylee, Kaylee and Kathan; and his sisters, Marion Hanlon and Vonda Franklin of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
