It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Clifton Glanden of Hyattsville, Maryland, who passed away on April 5, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton H. Glanden and Rachel Glanden (Byrd); and his brother Ira. He is survived by: his wife Doris F. Glanden; his sons, Michael Van-Glanden (Sue), Alex (Karen) and Nicholas Glanden (Natalie); his grandchildren, Casey, Sarah Van-Glanden, Lillian, Lydia and Nicholas Glanden, Jr.; and his siblings, Jimmy, William and Diane Glanden.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (7301 Annapolis Rd, Landover Hills, MD 20784).
