He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Ann Kiernan; his parents, Mark B. Kiernan Sr. and Gertrude M. Kiernan; and his brothers, Mark B. Kiernan, Jr. and Vincent Paul Kiernan.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Kiernan, James A. Kiernan (Paula) and Michelle Cooper (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Callie, Emily, Keagan and Brooke "Bo".
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Gasch's Funeral Home (4739 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781). A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (4902 Berwyn Rd, College Park, MD 20740). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jimmy's memory to BHVFD Annual Fund Drive, 8811 60th Avenue, Berwyn Heights, MD 20740.
