“I am truly saddened by Genna's passing. I first met her at the Corcoran when I took her class, Crossing Boundaries. I later had an internship with her at MICA. I was able to help with a few of her exhibits often visiting her home and seeing her reptiles and tortoises and her wonderful sculptures. I value the knowledge she bestowed upon me and will always cherish the conversations and moments of being in her presence. My condolences to her family. She will be truly missed. - Michelle Frazier”
