With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J Dalrymple in Hyattsville, Maryland, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on May 29, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Carter and Rosemary Carter (Quinn); her husband Harold Dalrymple; her siblings, Albert (Ruth), Archie Carter (Beverly), Rosemary Reeves (Jerry), Twyla Szollosi (John) and Virginia Kossman (Walter); and her brother-in-law Jacob Kerns.
She is survived by: her son Harold R. Dalrymple; her sister Nancy Kerns; her grandchildren, Siobhan Dalrymple (Steve Sharp) and Sean Dalrymple (Keri); and her great grandchildren, Audrheana and Quinn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (44 University Ave, Akron, OH 44308). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (100 E Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44319).
