He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis J. Long and Betty J. Long; his siblings, Louis J. Long, III and Tina Long (Trice); and his son Anthony J. Long, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Denise Long; and his children, Scott Alan Myers (Sandy) of Edgewater, MD, Katie Lynn Ortiz (Gregorio) of Glen Burnie, MD and James Joseph Long (Amber) of Odenton, MD.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gasch's Funeral Home (4739 Baltimore Ave, Hyattsville, MD 20781). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (1300 Bladensburg Rd NE, Washington, DC 20002).
