He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Gray Covey and Cleota Williamson Covey; and his grandson Grayson Covey. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Anne Covey; his sons, Mark Covey (Sue) and Kevin Covey (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Charles Covey, Megan Russell (Eric), Rachel Schultz (Steven), Lauren Covey, Samantha Rodocker (Jason), Christopher Sharpe and Matthew Sharpe, Sr.; and his brother Kenneth Covey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Framptom Funeral Home - Federalsburg (216 N Main St, Federalsburg, MD 21632). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Frampton Funeral Home.
