It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Lucille Berdaux of Hurlock, Maryland, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Davis and Alvina Blount; her husband Alvin Berdaux, Sr.; her siblings, Esttel Blount, Gladys Wilson, Mable Blount, Elizabeth Cephas, Clara Blount, Eloise Storey, Martha Leigh, Willie Blount, Jessie Blount and William Blount; her sons, Hilton, Robert and Howard; and her granddaughter Marquita Warner.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Walker of New Jersey; her children, Jessie Blount of Salisbury, Alvin Berdaux, Jr. (Carla) of Hurlock, Maryland, Juanita Berdaux of Hurlock, Maryland and Calvin Berdaux of Hurlock, Maryland; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Dockins (Marcellus) of Hurlock, Lowtessa Neal of Salisbury, Charles Neal III of Salisbury, Dewayne Cephas (Mindy) of Cambridge, Brittany Palmer of Cambridge, Dontraye Batson, Sr. of Cambridge, Ashley Thompson (Robert) of Cambridge, Dontray Smith of Cambridge and Nikki Conway of Hurlock, Maryland; her daughter-in-law Carla; her granddaughters, Osha, LaTasha (Rodney), Tynika and Darnicia; and her close friends, Anna Cephas and Loni Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
