She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford F. English and Maggie H. English; her daughter Patsy Short; her grandson Mark Short, Jr.; and her siblings, Peggy, Doris, Marie, Barbara, Carol and William "Sonny" English.
She is survived by: her husband Louis Short; her children, Nancy Willey (Chuck), Kay Downey, Lisa Thompson, Henry Short and Mark Short (Sarah); and her siblings, Betty, Franklin, Anna Mae and Joyce. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
