It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of JaBrion Amire Johnson of Hurlock, Maryland, born in Easton, Maryland, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 22, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Dwayne Dotson; and his great-grandparents, Walter, Christine Dotson, Ernestine Johnson and Eugene Camper.
He is survived by: his parents, William Sampson and Natasha Milton (Brandon); his brother William Manokey, Jr.; his grandparents, Lynette Sampson, Reginald Singleton, Lillian Johnson-Ralph, Lee Ralph and Roelando Newton; his great-grandparents, Earlene, Lewis Harris, Beverly Lake, Annette Newton and Cornelius Johnson (Margie); his uncles, Rian Johnson, Roe'Quon Newton and Nazair Whitfield; his close friend Rodney Jones, Jr.; his cousins, Verdell, Weems and Clinton Weems; his godfather Duane Tilghman; and his close friend Trevor Singleton. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Hurlock United Methodist Church (502 S Main St, Hurlock, MD 21643).
In August 2018, due to his illness, the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted him a wish.
