He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Edward and Sandra Jean Nelle. He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Dean (Walter Adams); his grandsons, Johnathan Dean, Calvin Dean and Samuel Adams; and his sister Jeanne Benson. He is also survived by nieces.
In honoring Evan's selfless spirit, he chose to donate his body to science, continuing his legacy of generosity and commitment to advancing knowledge and understanding.
