He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Spear and Lola Rogers Spear; his wife Marjorie Ruth Savage; his children, Eddie Spear and Nancy Spear; his brothers, Adrian and Frederick Spear; and his son-in-law Myo Bathaung.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ann Seligson, Linda Clark (Dan), Patrick Spear (Kimberly), Ronald Spear (Pamela), David Spear (Jackie) and Michele Davis (Mark); and his brother Dallas Spear. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren.
