It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborah Lavern Waters (Hurlock, Maryland), who passed away on March 27, 2018, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandsons, Calvin Simms and Kelvin Simms. She is survived by: her son Calvin Simms Jr.; her siblings, Beverly Waters and Akil Rahim (Carol); her grandchild Nizhay Simms; her nieces, Telicia Waters, Amirah Rahim, Vion Waters and Kee Williams; her aunts, Vietta Allen and Diane Allen; her father Vernon Matthews; and her friends, Minnette Matthews-Jones, Tina Dobson, Jamar Matthews and William Sampson. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
