With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stanley A Bliss of Huntingtown, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley F. Bliss and Alice D. Bliss; and his siblings, Evelyn Worrell, Wanda Taylor, Ernest Bliss and Eugene Bliss.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Dale Bliss (Vickie), Mindy Fellows (Gary), Judith Raynor and Dwayne Bliss (Karen); his grandchildren, Meagan Burger (Dennis), Erica Bliss, Kristen Bliss (Conner Downard) and Nicole Fellows; his great grandchildren, Ethan and Emalee Burger; his siblings, Wayne T. Bliss (Delores) and Donna Hemm; and his sister-in-law Shirley Thorne.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lee Funeral Home-Calvert (8200 Jennifer Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery - Cheltenham (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
