She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Ralph and Beulah Louise Cranford (Trott); her husband James Raymond Gibson; her brother Johnny Cranford; her sons, Dennis Gibson (Peggy) of Vicksburg, MS, Jack Gibson of Huntingtown and Roy Gibson (Debbie) of Dadeville, AL; her grandchildren, Denise Claffy, Bobby, Philip, Chris and Eric Gibson; her great grandchildren, Stephen, Hannah, Kyran, Jamie, Joseph, Thomas, Rachel, Bradley and Audrey; and her siblings, Thelma Baseman of Florida, Jean of Huntingtown and Ralph Cranford, Jr. of Huntingtown.
Shirley's family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory be made to Huntingtown United Methodist Church or to Calvert Hospice.
