He is survived by: his wife Mary Joan Buckler; his children, Cheryl Arciprete, Sharon Buckler (Dona), Terry Walsh (Tony), Donald Buckler (Kristie) and Melissa Smith (Ian); his grandchildren, Bryan, Serentiy and Daniel; his sister Jean Levin; and his sister-in-law Norma Lee Buckler.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home (4405 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at the Follow Southern Memorial Gardens (10155 Ward Rd, Dunkirk, MD 20754).
