He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. McGuffin and Ethel McGuffin; his parents-in-law, J. Arthur and Jessie Jo Bowen; his brother-in-law Jay Bowen; and his son-in-law Kris McCarthy (Greg Cameron).
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, John McGuffin (Keri) and Joy McCarthy; his brother Emory McGuffin of Oak Hill, WV; his sister-in-law Terry Bowen; and his grandchildren, Morgan, Ryan McGuffin, Cole, Carson and Carly McCarthy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Owings (8325 Mt Harmony Ln, Owings, MD 20736). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (90 Church St, Prince Frederick, MD 20678).
