She is survived by: her husband James F. McGowan; her son Christopher McGowan of Huntingtown, MD; her granddaughters, Violet and Iris McGowan; and her sisters, Dolly Smith (Paul) of Capitol Heights, MD, Critzer of King George, VA and Frances Jolley of Hurley, VA.
