He was predeceased by: his father John E. Sr. Verdin; his siblings, Nancy Mazzullo (Richard) and John E. Verdin, Jr.; his mother Catherine "Kitty"; and also Linda Verdin Burke.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Barbara Verdin of Huntingtown, MD; and his nieces and nephews, John P. Verdin (Mickey) of Alexandria, VA, Michael S. Verdin (Jamie) of Chesapeake Beach, MD, Susan L. Gallo (Michael) of Lusby, MD, Patrick J. Verdin (Ronda) of Owings, MD, Lisa A. Wieland (Paul) of Port Republic, MD, Clayton D. Verdin of Chesapeake Beach, MD, David A. Verdin (Natalya) of Chesapeake Beach, MD and Scott. He is also survived by 5 grandnephews; 5 grandnieces; 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews.
