It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackson Evans Ireland of Huntingtown, Maryland, who passed away on May 7, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jackson Wilson; and his brother James W. Jobes. He is survived by: his brother Jeffrey (Debbie); and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Barony (John), Jeff Ireland (Heather), Jessica Slayton (Kalin), Matthew Ireland (Krysta), Chris Hiner, Beth Huffford (Scott) and Tom Jobes (Elizabeth).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Van's name to Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Calvert County Historical Society, or a charity of one's choice.
