She was predeceased by: her parents, Deward Bronson McCombs and Virginia Phillips McCombs; and her brothers, Robert McCombs and Jack Harris. She is survived by: her close friend Emmett J. Bladen, Sr. of Hughesville, MD; her children, Robert Fitzgerald Jr. of Steven Fitzgerald, SR, David Fitzgerald Sr., Patricia Fitzgerald of Hollywood, MD, Vickie Figert of Hughesville, MD and Pamela J. Stojka of Florida; her stepsons, Emmett J Bladen Jr. and Michael Bladen; her brothers, James F. McCombs and David Harris of West Virginia; and her children-in-law, Robert Figert, Christa Fitzgerald (Vicky Bladen) and Kurt Lohman. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
