He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl Hill and Viola Elizabeth Hill (Shorter); his brothers, James E. "Shorty" Hill Jr., James M. "Pinky" Hill Sr., Richard Hill and Dennis Hill; his siblings-in-law, Robert Wolfe, Mary Hill, Mary "Windy" Hill and Marilee Hill; and his mother-in-law Juanita Gallahan.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Hill; his children, James "Jimmy" Hill (Jennifer) and Stephanie Hill (Dave); his granddaughter Danielle Hess; his siblings, Agnes "Cricket" Wolfe, Henry Lee Hill and Gary Hill; and his sister-in-law Valerie Hill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family.
