He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Ruark Simmons; his stepfather Oliver Simmons; his grandfather Fred C. Ruark; and his daughter Paula Ruark Gibb. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Parks; his daughter Teena Ruark Gorrow (Wayne); his grandson Ernie Beath III; his granddaughter-in-law Jennifer; his son-in-law Jim Gibb; and his son Terry Vincent.
