We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2023, at the age of 81, Susanna Mae Nevala of Hollywood, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Dean and Mary Dean (Newton) of Mary's Academy; her daughter-in-law Carol Nevala; and her siblings, Teddy Dean, Doris Knight and Mary Snavely.
She is survived by: her husband Dick; her sons, Troy Nevala of Leonardtown, MD and Brian Nevala (Leslie) of Leonardtown, MD; her sister Lynn Lumpkins (Earl) of Leonardtown, MD; her granddaughters, Rebekah Strong (Levi) of Picayune, MS, Emily VanFossen (Micah) of Athens, AL and Rachel Hackney (Andrew) of Fredericksburg, VA; and her great grandchildren, Levi Strong, Jr. and Susanna Strong. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
