He was predeceased by: his siblings, James F. Ferguson, Sr. and Agnes Maria Higgs. He is survived by: his son Robert Ignatius Tippett (Marlene); his granddaughter April Marie Roberts; his great grandchild Sterling Dean Roberts; and his sister Clara Rosetta Joy.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hollywood Vol.
