With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Alvey Sr. of Hollywood, Maryland, born in Leonardtown, Maryland, who passed away on September 3, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Gertrude Tippett and Leonard Bartholomew Alvey; and his siblings, Jimmy Alvey, Johnny Alvey, Lee Alvey, Bobby Alvey, Hazel Summers, Irene Strickland, Bessie Proffitt and Helen Stoneman.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Cusic; his children, Cheryl Henderson (Jason) of Appomattox, VA, Dana Reynolds (Zachary) of Hollywood, MD and Kenneth Alvey, Jr. of Hollywood, MD; his siblings, Larry Alvey (Linda) of Mechanicsville, MD and Linda Summers (Chuck) of LaPlata, MD; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron, Dylan, Garrett, Kylee, Brooke and Cate.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made toward the funeral expenses.
