We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2022, at the age of 97, Juanita Buchanan of Hollywood, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest McClellan and Mary Lena Gatton Joy; her husband Jack Randolph Buchanan; and her siblings, Eunice Gatton, Mildred Critchfield, Herbert Joy, Marion Joy, Joyce Remmel and Marvin Joy.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Buchanan (Betty) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Sharon Fisher of Cape Coral, FL, Lawrence Buchanan (Claudia) of Raleigh, NC, Ronnie Buchanan of Overland Park, KS, Michael Buchanan (Tracye) of Ellerslie, GA and Jacqueline Yannayon (Glen) of Mechanicsville, MD; and her brothers, Elwood Joy of Hollywood, MD and Arnold Joy of Williamsport, MD. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren.
