He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Ecker Davis of Edgewater, MD and Franklin H. D. Ecker of Baltimore, MD; his grandchildren, Savannah, Courtney and Jackson Davis of Edgewater, MD; and his sister Charlotte Hepner of Boynton Beach, FL. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
