We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2022, at the age of 87, Dorothy Elizabeth Clarke of Hollywood, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Abell Bowles and Joseph Ethelbert Abell, Sr.; her former husband Joseph Charles Wathen, Jr. (Joe); and her siblings, Bert Abell, Irene Hayden, Juanita Hayden (Nita), Margaret Jane Mattingly, Teresa Spalding and Agnes Joy (Piggy).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ridgell (Roger), Joseph (Buddy), John Wathen (Gail), Susan (Sue), Johnson (Walter) and Robert (Tony); and her sister Mary Lou Bassford of Hollywood, MD.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
