He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Gay Powell; his sons, Sean Powell of Hollywood, MD, Randy Powell (Katie) of Avenue, MD and Bud James (Laurie) of Lumberton, TX; his stepchildren, James Cranston of Calvert County, MD and Teresa Giordano of Arnold, MD; and his sister Jean Gontkovic (Tommy) of Mechanicsville, VA. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
