“My first love, my forever favorite, and the heart of me got her wings. She transitioned peacefully surrounded by family. I'm sad because I love and miss her, but I'm happy for her, too. I am able to celebrate her transition because I know she wanted to go for quite awhile. She stayed around for me and another family member...my fierce, warrior Mommy. I have so many happy, beautiful memories to wrap myself in tight. I pray I can be half the woman she was, I'm grateful for all she taught me. RIP”
