He is survived by: his wife Gwen Western El Sawi (El Sawi); his son Omar (Tracy); his grandsons, Alexander, Hunter and Emerson; his family, Ammera and Dennis Schmidt; his sister Nagda El Sawi; his nieces and nephews, Areej Kahlil (Walid El Melgy) and Mohab El Melgy; and also, Argaad Khalil, Skyler Schmidt, Leila Schmidt and Adam Khalil.
