It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Leland Wilcox (Highland, Maryland), born in Reading Center, New York, who passed away on March 19, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Polmateer Wilcox; his children, Rebecca Wilcox Glover (Kevin Glover), David Wilcox (Jeanne Guinard Wilcox), Carol Wilcox Shenk Beahm (Chester Beahm) of Warrenton, VA, Daniel Wilcox (Ruth Wagner Wilcox) and Timothy Wilcox (Ann Short Wilcox); and his grandchildren, David, Jonathan, Jeremy, Nathan Poe, Megan Poe Rice, Christopher Glover, Lauren Glover Stetson, Sarah Wilcox Kinz, Rachel Wilcox, Julia Wilcox Barringer, Isaac, Micah, John, Josiah Beahm, Jacob, Justin, James, Allison Shenk, Timothy, Hannah, Alexandra, Chloe, Ian Wilcox, Emma, Seth, Leighann and Danielle Wilcox. He was also cherished by 38 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family requests donations to be made in Jim's name to The Church at Covenant Park.
