He was loved and cherished by many people including: his brother Joseph Albert Hill; his father William D. Hill, Sr.; his grandparents, Joseph Dixie Hill, Ida Hill, William Lee Morgan and Anna Morgan; his wife Mona Hill; his children, Dorinda and Kevin; his sons-in-law, Tony Hyde and Lance Boyden; his stepsons, Fred Figueroa and Daniel Zambrano; his grandchildren, John Adam Hughes, Brendan Hughes, Marlena Navarro, Sarah Hughes, Christian Zambrano, William Boyden Hill and Olivia Boyden Hill; his great grandchildren, Braden, Camilla and Leiliana; his son Ernie; his siblings, Joe, Johnny Hill, Catherine Minor "Kitty" (Don), David Hill (Betty), Virginia Quade "Ginger" (Rhodie), Connie Letourneau (Fulton) and Richard Hill "Ricky" (Sandy); and his sister-in-law Jo Ann Hill.
He even donated the iconic Christmas Tree located at the circle in Chaptico.
