It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Grover Dix of Helen, Maryland, born in Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Pauline Elder and Leon Elder; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Helen Ann; his sister-in-law Anita; his children, Karen Alvey (Christopher) of Lusby, MD, Pamela Chirico of Jacksonville Beach, FL and Kevin; his stepchildren, Anita McPherson (Robert) of San Rafael, CA and David Ryker of Annapolis, MD; and his grandchildren, Lindsay Alvey, Zachary Chirico, Jason Alvey and Benjamin Knight. He is also survived by his extended family members, as well as his many friends.
Visitation will be on June 14th from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm at the John M. Taylor Funeral Home in Annapolis, with a memorial service to follow at the funeral home on June 15th at 10:00am and burial with military honors to follow at 11:30am at the Crownsville Veterans' Cemetery. (Those that are attending, the family requests that you please wear a mask).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Paul's memory to the American Heart Association.
