Marcia Carr Carper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marcia Carr Carper of Hebron, Maryland, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marcia Carr Carper to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel J. Carr and Mabel Hootman Carr; her parents-in-law, Bright M. Carper and Dorthea V. Carper; and her niece Sarah Ingham Cain.
She is survived by: her husband James F Carper, Sr.; her children, James F Carper, Jr., Susan O'Flaherty (Phil) of Newburyport, MA, Carren Cooper (Todd) of Bristol, VA and Kristen Wheatley of Hebron, MD; her grandchildren, Whitney Collins (Zeke), Sarah Howard (Greg), Chad Cathell (Paige), McKinsey Venable (David), Chase Cathell (Tra'Vesia), Jack Wheatley, Aidan, Mairin O'Flaherty, Will and Todd Cooper; her sisters, Catherine Cloud, Danielle McCauley (Steve) and Rusty Ehmann; her nieces, Bridget Brancato, Rachel Cloud and Meghan McCauley; and her goddaughter Debi Vincent-Blasé. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rockawalkin Church (6777 Rockawalkin Rd, Hebron, MD 21830). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
