With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George I. Gardiner III of Hebron, Maryland, born in Laplata, Maryland, who passed away on April 10, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George I. Gardiner, Jr. and Evangeline Lyon Gardiner; and his siblings, Dolly Williams, Webb Gardiner and Marianne Gardiner Lowe.

He is survived by: his wife Jean Gardiner of Hebron; his children, George I. Gardiner IV of Port Tobacco, Michael Gardiner (Tracie) of Mechanicsville, MD and Kelly Hayden (Tony) of Hebron; and his grandchildren, Whitney Gardiner, Shelbie Gardiner, Joseph Hayden and Toni Hayden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
