She was predeceased by: her parents, George Franklin Gladden and Lillie Mae Hurley Gladden; her daughter Madeline Elizabeth Jones; and her brother Eddie Gladden. She is survived by: her boyfriend Berk Ruark Sr.; her daughter Amanda Pruitt of Salisbury; her grandsons, Aaron Ruark and Vincent Pruitt; and her siblings, George "Frankie" Gladden of Salisbury, Patsy Richardson (Orville) of Salisbury, Betty Bennett of Salisbury and Thelma Rathel of Salisbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
