He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Delauch Mynes and Hazel Mynes of Virginia; and his siblings, John "Bill" Mynes and Brenda Mynes. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn "Laverne" Mynes; his children, Brenda M. Spindler (Tim) of Delmar, MD, Cheryl M. Cugle of Harmans, MD and Robert Alan Mynes (Dawn) of Pasadena, MD; his grandchildren, Andy Spindler (Kasie), Megan Spindler (Tom), Stacey King, Thomas Cugle, III (Rachel), Robert W. Mynes and Maria Rose Mynes; his stepgrandchildren, Christy Spindler (Ryan), Becky Neubert (Gannon) and Tim Spindler, Jr. (Allyson); his great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Mia, Brianne, Jordan, Gavin, Raven (Tom), Savannah, Emahry, Jonathan, Eliya, Amelia, Lillian and Isabel; his sister-in-law Trudy Mynes; his caregiver Kasie Alexander; and his pets, Gracie and Frankie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; many cousins.
