He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Pattie Browning and William James Browning; and his brother Robert Alan Browning. He is survived by: his sisters, Jeanette Browning and Deborah Browning; his sister-in-law Jean Browning; and his aunts, Irma Harding, Joan Harding and Daisy Cruz. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the MMP, Inc. (7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075).

He composed and established several historical markers in HDG with the Maryland Historical Trust and the William G. Pomeroy Foundation.

“Extremely sorry to read of Ron’s passing. He was a high school and UMBC classmate. We carpooled across town to UMBC together. He continued higher education with his awesome academic achievements. He was an usher at my wedding and we stayed in touch by way of Christmas letters where we read of his travels and local achievements. He seldomed missed sending an anniversary card during the past 55 years. He was a good man who lived an awesome and meaningful life and will be missed. Andrew Barr”
