He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson (Woronak); his former wife Bernice L. Johnson (Heintzelman); and his siblings, William J. and Helene Svitilla.
He is survived by: his daughter Constance E. (George Hall) of Elkton, MD.; his granddaughters, Ann (David Moxey) of Perryville, MD and Nancy; his spouse Richard Mangino of Wyckoff, NJ.; his great grandchildren, Ryan Michael Mangino and Kelsey Ann (Derek Pearce); and his great great grandchild Levi Pearce (Patricia Ditmore) of Aberdeen, MD..
