It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M Schaffer Sr. (Havre de Grace, Maryland), born in Perryville, Maryland, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Schaffer and Gladys Schaffer; his wife Wanda Schaffer; and his siblings, Benjamin Schaffer, Jr., Jerry Schaffer, Hilda Gallagher and Donna Anderson.
He is survived by: his sons, John M. Schaffer, Jr. and Michael W. Schaffer; his grandchildren, Tracy Wilkinson and Caleb Schaffer; his great grandchildren, Mycah, Maddie, Molly and Mason Wilkinson; and his sister Doris Thomas.
